WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BE A YOGA TEACHER?!

Many of us enroll in this program with the intention to teach while others want to deepen our own practice. Either way we consider this exploration a gift to ourselves...an 'immersion' in our yoga ...a self-journey.

WHEN DO WE MEET?

Our weekend intensives occur the first weekend of each month, except in July. Additional workshops may be included in pricing! Ex. The Art of Assisting, Traditional Indian Dance.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT EACH DAY?

Friday evenings, 6-9pm: Discussion, philosophy, meditation. A light transition into our weekend intensives. Dress for comfort & light movement.

Saturdays 9:00am—6:00pm:  All-levels class, pose breakdown, discussion of benefits, cautions, modifications. Pranayama, chanting, practice teaching. Dress for yoga! We move a lot on Saturdays.

Sundays 9:00am—5:00pm:  Our weekends culminate with a more gentle yoga practice, energetic body exploration, chakras, meditation. Dress for yoga, but be prepared for bliss.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR YOGA CLASSES AT VASTU DURING THE TRAINING?

Nope! Pricing for teacher training program includes membership to Vastu, free & unlimited access to all scheduled yoga classes, and selected workshops. Taking classes with all of the Vastu family of teachers is recommended for your enjoyment and integration of curriculum. AND your free classes begin when your application and deposit are accepted.

HOW MUCH DOES THE TRAINING COST?

Vastu Anahata Yoga Teacher Training is an investment in yourself. If you pay in full before the program begins the total cost is $2950 (including $500 deposit).Tuition can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.*Payment plans are available.

If you have been accepted into Vastu Anahata Yoga teacher training, please send a non-refundable deposit of $500 to reserve your space in the training.

PAYMENT PLANS:

We understand that there must be balance between living your dream and paying your mortgage! You may opt to pay the initial deposit of $500, then 2, 3 or 4 payments. In the event that your card/check is denied, the associated penalty fees will be the applicant’s responsibility.

REFUND POLICY:

There are no refunds or credits on any payment, partial or full, once the teacher training course has begun. We will refund 90% of payment if your space is filled by another participant up to two weeks prior to the start of the course. Or you may apply your balance to future yoga teacher training at Vastu.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE A TRAINING SESSION?

Please make every effort to attend trainings. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange makeup hours; additional fees may apply.

TRAINING HAS ALREADY BEGUN…CAN I STILL SIGN UP?

Yoga has taught us that anything and everything IS possible. Please contact us to create a plan to make your dream a reality. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO APPLY?

Come visit us, in person (preferred) or online. To apply for training:
1.Complete and submit an application.
2.Reserve your space by submitting your deposit of $500.
3.Attend a class with one of the Teacher Trainers: Kasey Madara, Aura Lehrer, Cari Dages. Please introduce yourself before or after class.
